Hello again!  Well, I finished my first 2016 quilt and LOVE it so much, definitely my favorite one so far! And this was such a fun quilt to make, big 16″ blocks that went together really fast.  I decided on Feed Company fabric by Sweetwater for this quilt, one of my favorite lines in 2015, and I just happened to have a couple of Layer Cakes in my stash waiting for the perfect quilt! My inspiration for this quilt came…

Happy 4th of July!  To help celebrate, I have put together a tutorial for a fun RW&B Sailboat Mini, fabrics from B&C’s Daysail line. If you don’t already…

After working for somebody, somewhere since I was 14-years old, I am very happy to finally be free of office work, deadlines and time clocks! I plan to fill my days with doggy walks, day trips with my husband and best friend, and many hours in my sewing…

I just love the new Bluebird Park fabric by Kate & Birdie with the little hummingbirds, so I snatched up a few fat quarters at my LQS to make myself some much needed oven mitts and potholders last weekend. These are the sad potholders that currently adorn my kitchen 🙁 So happy with my new hummingbird mitts, goodbye 80’s chickies. There are several other fun fabrics in this line that were not at my shop (love the little rabbits and bicycles), so…
