Wow, another year flew by, geeze they are going way too fast!  That being said, I have to say as I was pulling my photos together this morning, I’m very happy with what I was able to accomplish last year.  I felt my sewing skills have really improved and I continued to challenge myself to try new techniques, and to put my own spin on each project, whether my pattern or not.  I have posted all of the following projects…

Happy 4th of July!  To help celebrate, I have put together a tutorial for a fun RW&B Sailboat Mini, fabrics from B&C’s Daysail line. It’s a great place to meet new people who share…

The first mini I completed was Cherry Pie using charm packs and layer cakes from the Honeysweet and Avalon collections (Fig Tree & Co). The border is a 1″ checkerboard pattern, with a classic black and white pinstripe binding. The piecing on this…

Mini quilts seem to be the new quilting craze at the moment, and no wonder, they are so fun to piece and quilt! I am always in awe of quilters that make beautifully pieced queen size quilts, but just don’t believe they are in my DNA . I am happiest working on projects that I can complete in a few weeks, so it’s not surprising that I love this mini craze so much, I was able to piece my cherry…
