Hello all! It has been awhile since my last blog post, but I have the best excuse ever — I have been busy training my replacement so I could retire September 1st! After working for somebody, somewhere since I was 14-years old, I am very happy to finally be free of office work, deadlines and time clocks! I plan to fill my days with doggy walks, day trips with my husband and best friend, and many hours in my sewing…

My first two mini quilts are finished and already hanging in my dining room! Love these two mini’s by Fig Tree & Co. and if you want to make your own, you can find the patterns here. There are many great postage stamp tutorials on Pinterest and I decided to followed this one from the Moda Bake Shop by Julie…

I have a couple of WIPs on my sewing table this week. First is a spring table runner I started a few weeks ago using this charming¬†Lovely Lattices pattern I found on Moda’s website. I (of course) changed it a little by adding 1″ strips between the blocks and a border.¬† I will provide more details when I post the finished project.¬† Moda assigned the difficulty level as moderate for this pattern, and I feel that is correct.¬†Definitely improved my…
