Hello! So did you catch the Moda Love Blog Tour last week?  Each day Moda designers posted their version of the Moda Love pattern using their newly released fabric line, plus a little background on how they got started quilting and designing. It was amazing how each designer’s quilt looked so different. Bloggers were also encouraged to create a quilt from the “Love” pattern, and here’s mine! You can download the free pattern here and it’s available in 3 sizes…

Hello all! It has been awhile since my last blog post, but I have the best excuse ever — I have been busy training my replacement so I could retire September 1st! After working for somebody, somewhere since I was 14-years old, I am very happy to finally be free of office work, deadlines and time clocks! Changes: I wanted a 34″ square quilt to use as a table topper (Julie’s is 56″), so I only used…

WIP Even though the spring weather keeps calling me outside, I did get this jelly roll Postage Stamp quilt pieced and quilted.  I love these light and airy vintage fabrics from the Avalon collection by Fig Tree & Co. and have been using them and other Fig Tree fabrics to decorate my kitchen with their buttery yellows and minty greens. There are many great postage stamp tutorials on Pinterest and I decided to followed this one from the Moda Bake Shop by Julie…
