Welcome to my Wednesday WIPs!  I have been busy making several baby bibs for upcoming shower gifts — so great for a quick and fun weekend project.  Below is the first bib I made from a free pattern by Nana & Company that I found on Pinterest.

I used 2.5″ charms from Ducks In a Row and Babytalk for this mini bib.  Bright and cheerful, and perfect size for a newborn.

I am also working on a couple of larger bibs from a pattern I purchased at my LQS by Thimble Blossoms.

These are much larger bibs, perfect size for babies and toddlers.  For these bibs I used a Storybook 5″ charm pack, plus a few Bluebird Park charms, both by Kate & Birdie.  I fell in love with this Storybook line when I saw this charm pack at my LQS, maybe another baby quilt….

The bib assembly is super easy, start with a simple patchwork pattern and add a little quilting.

Cut out your front and back from pattern…

Sew RST, turn and add a snap…I embellished this one with bias binding.

And Finished!  The perfect shower gift for a sweet baby boy!  Hope you have enjoyed my Storybook bib post and for WIP Wednesday, linking up with Lee at Freshly Pieced.

Happy Sewing!
